Hey kids,

It's been a while, and quite quit in here. I hope I can get some new art up here soon, maybe get some creativity sparked. And if anyone has any clothing ideas/designs, by all means share! Until then....

Just Add Butter: Funky Furries

Purpose
This is a place for anthro artists to show off their characters/creations who have a creative flair for fashion, be it Gothic, Punk, Rivethead, Victorian, Renaissance, etc… Hopefully, art will be appreciated, friends will be found, contests will be held, and fun will be had. If not...well, we tried.

Rules
No yiffy/sexually explicit art please. That includes bondage and fetish art.
No glorification of sociopathic tendencies (ex. Rape, murder, pedophilia, etc…)
No racism or sexism.

How To Join
Send a note to the group or leave a comment on our main page, requesting to join. Watching us and putting the group’s icon on your DA page isn’t required, but is appreciated.

How to submit art
simply send a note to the club with a link to your deviation, along with the description you'd like to include with your work.

Disclaimer (aka Don't make fun of us)
I’m aware of some of the fuss that’s being made over “posers” on the DA message boards . Maybe being “Gothic”, “Punk”, or “Skater” is a fad. But the good thing about fads is that they die down. The best thing to do is just ignore your annoyance until they do. This group isn’t to define a stereotype or subculture. I don’t care if you shop at Hot Topic or can recite to me the band history of the Sisters of Mercy, or both. There can’t be any “Gothier then thou” attitudes here. Let’s focus on the ART and not subculture. If you think you’ll enjoy being part of this group, please, join. In the end, who really cares what others think? Enjoy other DA members for their art, not for their ideas about what a particular subculture means, whether you agree with it or not. You don’t have to dress a certain way to be a part of this. Aubrey and I may joke about our “Gothiness” sometimes, but nothing here should be taken overly serious. Just have fun ^_^
